Terms of Service
The rules that help keep the Anyfor marketplace clear, fair and safe for clients and independent professionals.
1. Agreement and scope
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Anyfor.com, its dashboards, marketplace tools, messaging, payment-related features and other services made available by Anyfor (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, posting or accepting work, purchasing a service, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked from them.
If you use the Platform for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Marketplace role and user relationships
Anyfor provides technology that enables users to connect. A user seeking work or services is a “Client” or “Employer”; a user offering work or services is a “Freelancer”. A user may be permitted to hold or switch between both roles.
- Anyfor is not a party to the contract between a Client and a Freelancer unless it expressly says otherwise.
- Freelancers act as independent professionals, not employees, workers, agents or partners of Anyfor or of a Client.
- Users decide the scope, price, timetable, method and acceptance criteria for their work and remain responsible for complying with applicable laws, licences, taxes and professional duties.
- Anyfor does not guarantee that a user, project, service, proposal, review or credential is accurate, lawful, suitable or available.
3. Eligibility, accounts and verification
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally able to enter contracts. You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your login credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
We may request identity, business, payment, sanctions or professional verification. A verification badge indicates completion of specified checks at a point in time; it is not an endorsement or guarantee. You may not sell, transfer, share or create accounts to evade restrictions.
4. Projects, tasks, services and user contracts
Listings, proposals and offers must describe the work honestly and include material requirements, deliverables, deadlines, fees and usage rights. When users accept an offer or otherwise agree through the Platform, they form a direct contract with each other (a “User Contract”).
Clients must provide timely instructions and lawful source materials. Freelancers must deliver original or properly licensed work with reasonable professional care. Each user should keep the agreed scope, milestones, approvals and change requests in the Platform’s written communication tools.
5. Fees, payments, refunds and taxes
Prices, service fees, package limits, credits, payment schedules and withdrawal rules shown at checkout or in the relevant dashboard form part of the transaction. Users authorise Anyfor and its payment providers to process applicable charges, refunds, reversals and payouts.
- Clients must use valid payment methods and must not initiate an improper chargeback.
- Freelancers are responsible for payout details and any threshold, delay or verification requirement disclosed before withdrawal.
- Each user is responsible for determining, collecting, reporting and paying their own taxes, unless the law requires the Platform or a payment provider to do so.
- Refund eligibility depends on the transaction, work status, applicable policy and mandatory consumer law. Platform fees already earned may be non-refundable where permitted by law.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the limited licence needed for Anyfor to host, reproduce, process, display and transmit it to operate, secure and improve the Platform. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use that content.
Unless a User Contract states otherwise, rights in custom deliverables transfer to the Client only after full payment, excluding the Freelancer’s pre-existing materials, tools, methods and third-party components. The Freelancer grants the Client the licences reasonably necessary to use any permitted pre-existing elements included in the final deliverable. Portfolio use requires the Client’s permission where the work or relationship is confidential.
Anyfor’s trademarks, software, interface, templates and other Platform materials remain owned by Anyfor or its licensors and may not be copied or exploited except as these Terms permit.
7. Confidentiality and personal data
Users must protect non-public information received through a project, task, service or conversation, use it only for the agreed work, and disclose it only to authorised persons who are bound by equivalent duties. Do not request or upload sensitive credentials, full payment-card details, government identifiers or regulated data unless a designated secure workflow expressly requires it.
How Anyfor handles personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Rules for public, private and confidential user content are described in the Content Privacy & Confidentiality Policy.
8. AI-assisted tools and services
The Platform or its users may use artificial-intelligence tools to help draft, classify, translate, recommend or create content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or similar to third-party material. Users must review output before relying on it, respect intellectual-property and confidentiality obligations, and disclose material AI use when the project requirements, law or professional standards require disclosure.
Do not submit confidential or personal information to an external AI provider without authority and an appropriate lawful basis. AI tools do not replace professional advice or the user’s responsibility for final work.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Platform to:
- break the law, facilitate fraud, sanctions evasion, money laundering, exploitation, harassment, discrimination or physical harm;
- offer forged documents, academic cheating, deceptive reviews, malicious software, unauthorised access, surveillance or privacy-invasive data collection;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights;
- misrepresent identity, qualifications, location, work, prices, availability or affiliations;
- scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass security, distribute malware or interfere with Platform operation;
- manipulate ratings, proposals, referrals or search results, send spam, or move a Platform-originated transaction off-platform to avoid fees or safeguards;
- post content that is illegal, sexually exploitative, hateful, threatening, deceptive or otherwise unsafe.
10. Communications, reviews and platform integrity
Platform messaging may be monitored or processed for delivery, fraud prevention, safety, support and policy enforcement as described in the Privacy Policy. Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction and may not be bought, traded, coerced or used for retaliation. We may remove or limit content that violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, or undermines marketplace integrity.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform subject to outstanding obligations. We may warn, restrict, suspend or close an account; pause a transaction or payout; remove content; or require additional verification where reasonably necessary to investigate a violation, protect users, comply with law, prevent loss or preserve Platform security.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to ask for review. Rights and obligations that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers and dispute provisions—will continue.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. Anyfor disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and does not warrant uninterrupted operation or any particular commercial outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anyfor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss, loss of profit, data, opportunity or reputation, or for a user’s acts or omissions. Anyfor’s aggregate liability arising from a claim will not exceed the greater of the Platform fees paid by the claimant to Anyfor in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
13. Disputes, applicable law and general terms
Users should first try to resolve transaction disputes through the Platform’s available support or dispute tools and preserve relevant messages, files and milestones. Anyfor may facilitate communication but is not required to decide the merits of a User Contract unless a specific dispute service says so.
Mandatory rights and laws of your place of residence continue to apply where they cannot be waived. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Platform operator identified in Anyfor’s official business or contact information, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings against Anyfor, you agree to give written notice through the Platform’s support channel and allow 30 days for an informal resolution attempt.
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or these Terms without consent; Anyfor may assign them as part of a corporate reorganisation, financing or transfer of the Platform. The English version controls unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, safety or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated by a reasonable method, and the effective date will be updated. Continued use after the new effective date means acceptance where permitted by law.
Questions, notices or requests should be submitted through the support or contact channel shown on Anyfor.com or in your account dashboard. Include your account email and enough detail for us to identify the issue, but do not send passwords or full payment-card information.
